COMENSI closure was achieved by a full day Multiplier event with a lot of effort and creativity, due to COVID-19 security measures, proving participatory democracy is possible even during a pandemic! There were debates in small groups with local organisations and education/social area professionals to bring their knowledge in local development and share our tools and experience during COMENSI local partnership work. Civic initiatives were demonstrated: the food garden, recycling contest, mural painting, local heritage site refurbished. Youngsters celebrated participatory democracy in Ajuda through theatre – and the community choir concluded a beautiful day!
