Collective learning through anti-racist media production is the working proposal of the Erasmus+ CLAP project: After the test phase of training educators for facilitating workshops with groups of adults, which was so well received by the Renovar a Mouraria association, the team is ready to go into the field.
The year 2024 will begin with new educators trained, in territories we already know and others that will be a first (we won’t tell you everything yet…), and we will go out into the streets to listen to the communities and create spaces where people tell their stories, through the production of videos and other media products with an anti-racist and intercultural lens.
We won’t stop there!
At the end of 2023, the CLAP project consortium (Média Animation, Belgium and Karpos, Greece) met in Lisbon to take stock of the activities completed, those underway and future plans, and the process of designing and writing the “Inspiration and Strategy Box”, focused on Advocacy and Activism, This activity will be led by 4Change and will test various tools for amplifying the work done by the people taking part in the workshops.
