Free media literacy training: 4Change invites everyone involved in education, especially adult education, to the “Team Up! Media literacy training for educators”.

It will take place during the week of November 14 to 21 (schedule to be confirmed between registrants) and a second edition in January 2023.

It will be a series of workshops, with a theoretical basis of #MIL e #mediaeducationBut with a very strong practical component, media production tools (from photography to podcasts). It is aimed at a variety of educators who work with adults: in formal or non-formal education, in libraries or NGOs, in the areas of social action and inclusion or employability.

The media are unavoidable today – we are all connected in some way. It is the new literacies that enable civic participation but also a better social life and even work in our digital societies. Knowing how to read and deal with the media on a daily basis and how to communicate is essential today, for example, to know how to react to hate speech or situations of violence on social networks.

This training is part of the “TeamUp! #MediaforInclusion for Adults / Media for the inclusion of adults”, co-financed by #Erasmusplus. A partnership between the European organizations @KARPOSontheweb in Greece, @Forma.AZIONE in Italy, @eriminternational in France and @4Change in Portugal, specialists in #literacyformedia or #MIL – Media and Information Literacy.
