“Quiet, CLAP is recording”

On March 23rd and 24th, we brought groups in Almada and Sintra together with the CLAP training team to run Film Workshops and introduce technical knowledge for film production – we worked with two groups with different backgrounds and interests, from teaching and painting to youth associations and music production, but with a common goal: to produce films that carry an anti-racist and social justice narrative.

Starting with the multiculturalism and potential of Almada and Tapada das Mercês, which opened the door to the CLAP project for us to begin this work, the journey continues with a phase of research and gathering stories in order to creatively and collectively design the narratives of the films that will be produced.

“Quiet, CLAP will (continue) recording.”
