On May 17, 4Change took part in the IV CFCM PEDAGOGICAL DAYS – The changing school: challenges and opportunities, which took place at the Fonseca Benevides Secondary School. The panel dedicated to “A new school paradigm – paths and perspectives of DL 54 and 55” presented the MigratED_migrations, human rights and education project (2018-2020).
The work taking place in three school groupings was presented: during the MigratED project, all participants are involved in research on the themes of interculturality and migration, in the production of awareness-raising materials and in workshops and conferences. Knowing the challenge that teachers and trainers face in the field of digital tools, but also taking into account their fundamental role in truly changing mentalities, MigratED also invites the school community to foster involvement through tools and knowledge in the area of Media Literacy and the theme of migration so that they can develop in-depth, effective and fruitful work with their students – young people between the ages of 15 and 20, defined as the target audience for this project.
