At the end of May 2024, the CLAP! partners met in Athens and brought with them the leaders and trainers who are developing film projects with their vulnerable adult audiences thanks to CLAP! It was a fascinating meeting, with rich exchanges about each other’s experiences.

The culmination of the CLAP project! a rare opportunity for supervisors to share their experiences on the ground, in Lisbon and Sintra, in Athens and its suburbs, in Brussels and in Liège.
-
- About the projects they have started with their target groups, about their needs, about the themes that mobilize them.
-
- The realities experienced in different contexts by so-called “vulnerable” groups.
-
- The “good practices” designed to meet the challenges of making a collective film.
-
- About the experiences made thanks to module 3 of CLAP! The film workshop toolbox. Thanks to feedback from professionals, it can be enriched and finalized by the partners.
-
- On the opportunities for promoting productions within the framework of an activist approach. The team was able to start reflecting on this complex question: how can we give weight to an amateur film so that it contributes to changes in society?

The group also had the opportunity to discover the “école de la seconde chance”: a place dedicated to continuing adult education, in the specific context of the Kallithéa neighborhood. Several groups had the opportunity to present the progress of their collective film projects.
Needless to say, the Belgian team returned from Greece with their heads full of ideas for new film projects, as close as possible to the continuing education audience.
